Barley and Burger / Rocky Mount, NC

Hellagood lunch at Barley & Burger in Rocky Mount. Awesome pair of perfectly smashed patties (with the tasty crunchy edges we want on a thin, seared burger) covered in gooey white cheddar and chili (hot dog chili - not some bean adorned atrocity). . The meat could have been seasoned a tad bit more, but not a deal breaker. Nice thin slice of ‘mater and chopped lettuce surrounded by fresh pretzel bun. Almost too much of the good stuff as the bun could not contain it all in any neat or tidy way. The old saying goes that you can tell how great a burger is by how many napkins you need. Strangely enough, I literally needed nine. Great burger! 9.2/10
