Doug Sauls' BBQ / Nashville, NC

Little lunch at the only old school Nash County BBQ joint left (RIP legends Buck Overton’s & Bob Melton’s.). It's a super traditional Eastern NC 'cue: chopped fine, properly sauced, sweet slaw on a regular hamburger bun. Nothing overly special, but better than 50% of what's offered across the state. 8/10
